Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Plans and how you are billed

BarnLinking offers a free Basic tier and a paid Pro subscription billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge your payment method on a recurring basis—at the start of each billing period—until you cancel. The current price, billing interval, renewal date, applicable taxes, and invoices are shown at checkout and in your billing portal. We do not store full payment card numbers.

2. Free trial

New subscribers may be offered a free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. The free trial is your opportunity to evaluate Pro. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged for the first billing period. The free trial is offered once per account; cancelling and re-subscribing does not grant another free trial. We may modify or withdraw trial offers at any time.

3. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same length at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can see and manage your renewal in the billing portal at any time.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from Profile → Billing, which opens your self-service billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals only. It does not retroactively refund the current or any prior period. Unless we state otherwise, your Pro access continues until the end of the period (or trial) you have already paid for or started, after which your account reverts to the Basic tier. We do not provide partial-period or prorated refunds for unused time.

5. Refunds

Except where a refund is required by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable and are charged in full for each billing period, including for periods during which you do not use the Service. Because a free trial is provided so you can evaluate Pro before paying, we generally do not issue refunds after a paid period begins.

We may, in our sole discretion and without obligation or precedent, approve a refund or credit in limited situations such as a duplicate charge, a verified technical billing error on our side, or where required by law. Any approved refund is issued to the original payment method through our payment provider and may take several business days to appear.

6. Billing errors and disputes

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first at support@barnlinking.com within 60 days of the charge (with your account email and the invoice or charge reference). This is usually the fastest way to fix a billing problem, and you keep your right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks, or charges left unresolved, may result in suspension or downgrade of Pro access while we review the matter, in addition to any remedies available to us under applicable law.

7. Price and plan changes

We may change our prices, plans, features, and what is included in each tier at any time. Changes to recurring prices apply to billing periods that begin after the change and, where required, we will provide advance notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

8. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we (or our payment provider) may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade Pro access until payment succeeds. You remain responsible for amounts owed for periods in which you retained Pro access.
